What is a tip calculator?
A tip calculator works out how much to tip and what the total bill comes to, and can split it evenly between several people. It saves doing percentages in your head at a restaurant, café or bar.
How it works
The tool multiplies the bill by your chosen tip percentage to get the tip, adds it to the bill for the total, then divides by the number of people. Example: a 50 bill at 18% is a 9.00 tip, a 59.00 total, or 29.50 each between two people.
